What is Wifi Vault?
A private vault for your Wi-Fi passwords. Save every network you use with a friendly place name, organize them into categories, and share any of them in seconds with a QR code or a printable guest card.
How do I add a network?
Tap the + button, then enter a place name, the network name (SSID), the password, and the security type — WPA/WPA2/WPA3, WEP, or open. You can also pick a category and add a note, for example the router location or your provider.
How does QR sharing work?
Open any saved network and tap share to show a standard Wi-Fi QR code. Point an iPhone or Android camera at it to connect — no typing and no spelling out the password. The screen brightens automatically so it scans easily.
What is a guest card?
A clean, printable card with the network name and QR code (and, optionally, the password). Export it as a PDF or image — handy to frame at home or leave out for guests in a rental.
Where are my passwords stored?
On your device. Passwords are kept in the iOS Keychain, and the rest of each network's details are stored in a local database on your iPhone. Nothing is uploaded to us.
Is my data synced or backed up to the cloud?
No. Wifi Vault is local-only and has no account or cloud sync — your vault lives on this device. Deleting the app removes all of its data, including saved passwords, so keep your own copy of anything you can't afford to lose.
Do I need an account?
No. There's no sign-up. Just open the app and start saving networks.
Do I need the internet?
No. Adding, finding and sharing your networks all work fully offline.
How do I lock the app?
Turn on App Lock in Settings to require Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode every time the app opens or returns from the background.
How does the password generator work?
When adding a network you can generate a strong password and adjust its length and which character types to include (uppercase, lowercase, digits, symbols), with an option to skip look-alike characters.
How do I turn notifications on or off?
You can turn notifications on or off any time in iOS Settings. The app works fully without them.
What languages and themes are supported?
Wifi Vault is available in English and Russian, and supports System, Light and Dark appearance.
How do I delete my data?
Delete an individual network from within the app, or remove the app to erase all of its local data, including passwords stored in the Keychain.
